1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the FurtherJoy mobile application, any paired FurtherJoy device features made available through the app, and related account, subscription, and AI-enabled functionality (collectively, the "App Services").
By creating an account, pairing a device, downloading, accessing, or using the App Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App Services.
2. About the App Services
The App Services are provided by FurtherJoy Limited ("FurtherJoy", "we", "us", or "our").
The App Services are designed to support FurtherJoy's physical products and their associated creative, interactive, and AI-enabled features. The App Services are not offered as a standalone general-purpose SaaS platform.
The App Services may include, depending on product configuration and release stage:
- device pairing and device management
- account and profile management
- subscription and entitlement management
- AI-assisted creative tools
- voice, text, image, or other prompt-based content generation
- messaging or interactive features between compatible FurtherJoy devices or accounts
- software, firmware, or feature updates
Some AI functions are supported by third-party model or infrastructure providers. Current or future upstream AI/model providers may include Runware and other providers we may add over time.
3. Eligibility, Minors, and Parent or Guardian Consent
The App Services are designed to support child-oriented products, but a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms of Service on behalf of any minor user where required by applicable law.
If you are a parent or legal guardian allowing a child to use the App Services, you:
- agree to these Terms of Service on the child's behalf
- consent to the child's use of the App Services as permitted by applicable law
- are responsible for supervising the child's use of the App Services
- are responsible for all activity conducted through the child's account, profile, or paired device
If you are below the age at which you can validly consent to digital services under applicable law, you may use the App Services only with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits any mandatory child-protection, consumer, or privacy rights that apply under law.
4. Accounts, Pairing, and Security
You may need an account to use some or all App Services. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- controlling access to your account and paired devices
- promptly notifying us of unauthorized access, loss of device control, or account misuse
We may require account verification, device verification, or guardian verification for some features.
5. Subscriptions, Paid Features, and App Store Terms
Some features may require a paid subscription or other purchase.
If you subscribe through Apple, Google, or another app marketplace, billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations may also be governed by that marketplace's terms and processes.
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, we may change pricing, feature packaging, trial terms, or subscription scope from time to time. We will reflect material changes in the App Services or associated purchase flow before they take effect for new purchases, and for renewals where required by law or platform rules.
6. Inputs, Outputs, and AI Features
The App Services may allow users to submit prompts, text, voice, images, messages, instructions, or other material ("Inputs") and receive AI-assisted responses, generated content, printed content instructions, messages, or other materials ("Outputs").
6.1 Your responsibility for Inputs
You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, appropriateness, and rights clearance of your Inputs.
You must not submit Inputs that:
- are unlawful, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights
- contain malware, malicious code, or security exploits
- are intended to bypass safeguards, filters, or feature restrictions
- exploit, target, or endanger children or other vulnerable persons
6.2 License to FurtherJoy for Inputs
You retain ownership of your Inputs, but you grant FurtherJoy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, transmit, display, analyze, and otherwise use the Inputs solely as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the App Services
- provide requested AI or device functionality
- pair and synchronize devices
- maintain safety, moderation, abuse prevention, and security systems
- troubleshoot, develop, improve, and support the App Services
- comply with legal obligations and enforce these Terms of Service
This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to our retention practices and applicable law.
6.3 Ownership and treatment of Outputs
As between you and FurtherJoy, and subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and these Terms of Service, you own whatever rights, if any, FurtherJoy may have in Outputs generated specifically for your account or use.
However:
- Outputs may not be unique
- similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users
- Outputs may not be eligible for copyright or other intellectual property protection
- Outputs may contain errors, unsafe material, biased material, or material that implicates third-party rights
You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on, sharing, printing, publishing, or otherwise using them.
7. Content Standards, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may, but are not required to, monitor, review, filter, restrict, block, remove, disable access to, or investigate Inputs, Outputs, messages, profiles, or account activity for safety, legal, operational, or policy reasons.
We may take action without prior notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
- protect children or other users
- prevent misuse or unlawful conduct
- enforce these Terms of Service
- respond to legal complaints or claims
- protect our systems, models, providers, or partners
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all App Services, or disable associated content or accounts, if:
- you breach these Terms of Service
- we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
- we receive a legal complaint or rights claim
- a third-party provider, app store, or infrastructure provider requires action
- continued service would create security, child-safety, or legal risk
You may stop using the App Services at any time. Deleting the app or deleting an account may not automatically delete all associated data where retention is required for safety, billing, legal, or operational reasons.
9. Copyright Complaints and DMCA-Style Notices
If you believe that content made available through the App Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may send a complaint to us with sufficient detail for us to review the claim, including:
- identification of the work claimed to be infringed
- identification of the allegedly infringing material
- information sufficient for us to locate the material
- your contact information
- a statement of good-faith belief
- a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act
Copyright complaints may be sent to:

If we later appoint or register a specific copyright or DMCA agent, we may update these Terms of Service and publish the designated contact details.
10. Third-Party Services and Providers
The App Services may depend on third-party providers, including app stores, cloud providers, analytics or observability tools, payment processors, and AI/model providers.
We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of third-party components may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Disclaimers
The App Services, including AI-generated or AI-assisted functionality, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that:
- Outputs will be accurate, complete, lawful, or suitable for any purpose
- the App Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
- content moderation or safety systems will detect every issue
- third-party AI or infrastructure providers will operate without interruption or error
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FurtherJoy and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, model providers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:
- your Inputs
- your Outputs or your use of Outputs
- your breach of these Terms of Service
- your violation of law
- your infringement or alleged infringement of third-party rights
Where a minor uses the App Services through a parent- or guardian-authorized account, the parent or guardian accepts this indemnity obligation to the extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FurtherJoy and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, model providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising out of or related to the App Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the App Services and these Terms of Service will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid us directly for the relevant App Services in the 12 months before the claim arose, or
- USD 100
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Changes to the App Services and These Terms
We may modify the App Services, including features, content handling, AI functionality, subscription structure, or supported devices, at any time.
We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the app, on our website, or by other reasonable means where required by law.
Your continued use of the App Services after the effective date of updated Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
15. Governing Law and Cross-Border Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that disputes arising out of or relating to the App Services or these Terms of Service will be brought in the courts of Hong Kong, except to the extent that mandatory consumer-protection laws in your home jurisdiction require otherwise.
If you access the App Services from outside Hong Kong, you are responsible for complying with applicable local laws to the extent they apply to your use.
